Cookie policy

We set one cookie, and only when you use the feature it exists for:

• ww_booking: only set once you start a booking, so you can pick up where you left off if you come back. It holds a random reference and nothing else, the booking itself (your postcode, your bins, the day you picked) is kept on our server against that reference, not in your browser. A first-party cookie limited to the booking pages, kept for 30 days, and cleared when you finish.

It’s strictly necessary for the booking you’re making, so it doesn’t need consent, which is why we don’t show a cookie banner. We don’t use tracking, advertising or social-media cookies.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages people read and how many bookings and enquiries the site brings in. It’s cookieless: it doesn’t store anything on your device, doesn’t follow you across other websites, and can’t tell who you are. Visits are grouped using a short-lived hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours.

The events we count (for example, “booking submitted” with the plan, number of bins and price) never include your name, email address, phone number or address.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the booking cookie means the booking form can’t remember your progress between steps, and blocking cookies for everything tends to break a lot of websites.
